Marc and Michelle’s backyard wedding in Rosalind was heartfelt and beautiful. Friends and family fought back tears while watching the couple say their vows, exchange rings, participate in a tree planting ceremony and finally have their hands wrapped with a red chord, which had been knotted by guests who wished good fortune on the couple. Oh, and of course, the first kiss!
We had so much fun photographing these two. The weather held off just long enough for us to get through the portrait session before it absolutely poured rain while we were in the reception. If you’ve followed our work for a while you’ll know that we love the rain! And during this wedding we also found out that we love the quiet before the storm! Those skies were stunning and they really added to the overall look of Marc and Michelle’s portraits. Of course they made our job much easier because of how amazing they looked! How great is her dress! And we loved Marc’s bow-tie too!
The top it off the bridal party was a blast. They had us keeling over with laughter all day, cracking joke after joke and smiling and laughing with each other while we were photographing them. Needless to say it was easy to see genuine smiles and emotion!
Congratulations Marc and Michelle! We wish you all the best as you continue your lives together in Ontario.
